We make events of all shapes and sizes a delight to experience and a memory to cherish. Michael and Fayelle of August Moon provide extraordinary food, elegant and creative presentations, courteous, professional service, and detailed organization–just the right ingredients for your perfect event.
And your event should be just that–yours. We work with you to understand your vision, and that is reflected in food choices, venue, and decor. Feel the calm that comes with knowing everything has been taken care of. We synchronize with vendors, oversee schedules, and make sure that your event goes seamlessly.
Michael listens to the food. He uses skills from his Culinary Institute of America training, but approaches each creation from a place of appreciation and quiet meditation. He does not dress food, he allows local produce, international flavors, fresh seafood, and choice livestock to shine. Ingredients are sourced from many of the best food producers and farms in our local area. Taste Maine, and the world, in every bite. WHERE WE DO IT
We can create a kitchen in any location you need, from the deck of your boat to a remote seaside beach, and help pair the food to the season and location. Prefer to entertain in your home? We treat it with respect, and set festive mood and spirit with decor and place setting selections. Using a rented venue? We can help select from the many halls and spaces available, and create magic for a day.
